Today, I’m here to share my first impressions of this remarkable flagship device, with special emphasis on its groundbreaking Galaxy AI capabilities.

Design and Display:
Upon laying eyes on the S24 Ultra, one can’t help but be captivated by its sleek and futuristic design, despite it looking similar to last year’s model. This handset exudes a premium look and feel with its seamless glass and titanium construction. The centrepiece is undoubtedly the breathtaking 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, which offers an immersive visual experience thanks to its vibrant colours, stunning contrast, and HDR10+ support. The screen, with its minimal and finally even bezels and smooth 120Hz refresh rate, is a true feast for the eyes, even including a new anti glare coating. The 2600 nits of peak brightness sounds mind-blowing on paper, ensuring bright viewing angles even in direct sunlight. It is also protected with the brand new Gorilla Glass Armour, which is 4 times more scratch resistant and a new titanium frame. The new flat display allows the phone to be a better note taking device with the included and improved S-Pen, but some people miss the futuristic look of curved displays.

Galaxy AI – The Revolution Within:
What truly sets the S24 Ultra apart from its competitors is its groundbreaking integration of Galaxy AI. Leveraging the power of artificial intelligence, this device seamlessly adapts to user preferences, making it feel multiple steps ahead of your needs. So without further ado, I’m going to list all the Galaxy AI features.
1) ProVisual Engine – This is for – you guessed it – photography. It improved image quality, especially in low light. Magic Editor allows you to remove unwanted people or things from your photos or move them around seamlessly. Now what I found the most interesting – if you have any video and hold on it, Galaxy AI will generate extra frames, making instant slow motion.
2) Language, voice, and more

Galaxy AI contains a suite of text-centric features, all of which work on written text as well as voice: Live Translation: You can use the built-in phone app on a Galaxy phone to translate phone calls in real-time. Press the Live Transcribe icon and the app makes a voice and text translation of a live phone call as well as the caller’s side over the phone call in both directions. Oddly, the person you are calling does not need to have a Samsung phone either. Instead, you do. And obviously, you need to have an internet connection.
3) The Samsung Keyboard app is receiving several AI enhancements, including translation capabilities and the ability to modify the tone of your messages. This feature will allow you to adjust your messages to better suit various conversations, offering options such as professional, casual, polite, and witty. Additionally, Galaxy AI will provide a summarization option for documents and websites, as well as notes within the Samsung Notes app. This is part of a larger AI feature called Note Assist, which will also provide ready-made templates and automatically generated covers.
4) Perhaps the most useful – long pressing the home button and then circling anything on your screen will trigger a Google search of whatever you circled – an advanced version of Google Lens.

With a powerful quad-camera setup, featuring a 200MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, 10MP 3 times telephoto lens, and a 50MP 5 times telephoto lens and a dedicated depth sensor, capturing stunning photos has never been easier. However, it is the intelligent Galaxy AI algorithms that steal the show by automatically adjusting settings, detecting scenes, and optimizing image quality. Powered by the latest flagship chipset, paired with a considerable amount of RAM, – 12GB this device offers snappy and fluid multitasking capabilities. Combined with the prowess of Galaxy AI, the S24 Ultra intelligently manages system resources, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency at all times. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 for Galaxy – and is the fastest chip on any phone on the market. The battery has a capacity of a whopping 5000 MaH, beating out many major flagships and charges at an alright 45 watts.

Camera:
There is not much to say about the camera – it is great as always. It possesses excellent dynamic range, zoom and is a great and intuitive camera. The secondary telephoto lens may have been downgraded from 10 times zoom to 5 times zoom, but it still produces optical quality zoom until 10 times due to the increased camera resolution, and drastically increases the quality of portrait shots.

Conclusion:
In my non-existent initial encounter with the S24 Ultra, it became evident that Samsung has elevated the smartphone experience to unprecedented levels.
